
A favorite seafood dish of mine would have to be shrimp (prawn) curry. I recently went to a nice Indian restaurant and that basically all I ate. Personally I love Indian food, especially because i like spicy food items; however Indian food is just over the top, especially the butter chicken and the shrimp curry. The spicy blend of spices along with the succulent fresh shrimp just make my day, my mouth starts watering when smell the irresistible aroma carries out of the kitchen. One thing that can make the dish a lot more flavorful would be to add more BUTTER. Yes, butter makes everything taste better, so that’s why the dish could use some more butter. Personally my dish would be a great addition and probably would play well in the Great American Seafood Cook off. Indian food fares well with a lot of people in the USA so it would great for the cook-off. I am really excited about this event because i myself am a great cooking fan, but i doubt how shrimp curry would go against Tim Thomas, of Georgia the 2007 champion. The event is all about raising awareness for creating a positive ness of domestic seafood sustainability, basically that means we won’t have to rely on other countries for our seafood, the seafood we get is known, it is local and fresh.
